AIIB-led partnership with Malaysian banks pledges $6bn to Asean green infrastructure


The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), a multilateral development bank, has entered into an agreement with four Malaysian banks, including Maybank, CIMB, AmBank and Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad (BPMB), to jointly mobilise up to $6 billion in financing for sustainable and tech-enabled infrastructure projects across the Asean region.
